So, we've been a little busy since returning from our wonderful relaxing trip to sunny southern Florida. We have so many pictures, 274 and 6 videos to be exact. So of course, I'm thinking up a scrapbook to be worked on, but since I'm still trying to finish LMA's first year not sure when that's going to happen.
Anyways, I am also working on an entry about the online coupon world and what I've found out so far. I know a few of my friends have mentioned an interest in saving money... who's not these days?
So, please stay tuned and I promise to bring Florida pics and coupon hints.
Until then.

Day out with Thomas
So it's a little late, but better late than never. For National Scrapbooking Day, I did get about 2 hours to myself to work on scrapbooking, but laundry had to be started. By the time I actually figured out what I was doing with the layout, I was left with about an hour. Didn't finish that layout yet, but since I just picked up the pictures today from Sam's, I'm hoping to have it done before we leave for Florida.
However, during Little Man's nap this afternoon, I did put together a fast digital layout that I wanted to share from his Day out with Thomas. Hubby's dad from Texas was able to make it up for the weekend, so LMA had a blast with more attention. And I'm sure if it wasn't for that damn thing called a nap beckoning LMA, he would have gone all the way to 5pm just to hang out with trains for the rest of the day.
I'm telling you, this kid can spot an emergency vehicle a mile away. We drive all the way up to Baltimore to look at trains and he's bust looking at an ambulance and a fire truck. Silly kid.
They had a person making balloon animals, but LMA wanted something different than a dog or sword. He picked an airplane!
I have a feeling we'll be doing this again next year. As long as we're in the area of one anyway.

Bargain hunting kicks a**
Over the past month or so, I've really gotten into coupon clipping and saving more money for our family. I mean, who couldn't use a few extra dollars each month? I can't remember how it started, but I know it started with Moms By Heart blog. Not sure where, when, or even how I came across this blog, but this Mom puts together a compilation of savings from Target, Wal-mart, CVS, and Walgreens. Along with a few other blogs that I've come across the way, I've managed to get some pretty good deals over the past week.
I now present, exhibit A:
Last week alone, although not in the same purchase, I managed to purchase all of the above merchandise for ... wait for it...
$7.62 including tax
That's right! Can you believe it? All that would have normally cost me $23.59 plus tax (and yes, that is three Aveeno moisturizers, Johnson's baby wash, and two tubes of toothpastes with toothbrushes)!
Okay, so it may not be as good as Catwoman who managed to get three packages of Huggies diapers, four packages of Huggies baby wipes, gobs of applesauce, beaucoup room deorderizer, two bags of dog food, and fresh meat for a measly $27 including tax, but I'm working on it. I'm not that good yet, but I am aspiring to be just like her some day.
If you're curious to know more about my coupon shopping online, let me know. I'll hook ya up.

I think he's ready
Next week, the hubby, Little Man, and I, and only us are going to Florida for an entire week. For the past month, we have been counting down the days until we leave for Florida. We've been marking off the days with a red marker which gets Little Man even more excited about going to "Florida Beach." And he says this with two thumbs up and a huge smile!
The other day, he was trying on goggles... obviously too big for his little head. But I think he's officially ready for Florida. What do you think?
I think so.
Four more days, Little Man.

Happy National Scrapbooking Day
I was hoping that I could share some new layouts with you on this blessed day that started back in 1994 by Creative Memories. It's the day that scrappers all over the world get to celebrate our love for scrapbooking.
So what will I be doing on National Scrapbooking Day? Probably cleaning the house or emptying our yard of leaves which have been laying around since last fall. Maybe I'll see if Daddy can take Little Man out for a couple hours so I can finish a few layouts.
Considering I only have five more months before my life really changes.

Just relax already
This swine flu overreaction has gotten a little out of control. I agree with AmyBow to just turn off the television and go outside (unless of course you are living in the Northeast and suffer from allergies - damn tree pollen).
But I had to share this. Wouldn't it be nice if we could really blame this virus on this?
Or maybe not because that's just gross.
Have a great weekend.
